New film cinema releases include this adorable kids movie Home, starring the animated alien version of Sheldon, Big Bang Theory actor Jim Parsons. Home from How to Train Your Dragon director Chris Sanders and Dreamworks animation follows the arrival of an optimistic yet inept alien race, who invade the earth and relocate the whole of the human race – except for Tip, played by Rihanna, who manages to avoid capture. She meets a banished alien named Oh, played by Jim Parsons, who assists her in her search for her mother Lucy (Jennifer Lopez), and the two embark on a ridiculous and frustrating adventure as they attempt to understand each other's culture. Expect jokes in the vein of the Big Bang Theory's socially inept lead character, and animations reminiscent of How To Train Your Dragon's surprisingly adorable but uncoordinated dragon 'Toothless'. A surefire way to keep them entertained over the course of its 94 minutes – you might find just yourself laughing along too.
