Children are guided by actor-musician Nasi Voutsas through their story, which is told partly through performance and partly through film. This is a very atmospheric place to be, as imagined by the writers: "It's that time again, late at night, dark and silence (other than this wind howling down the chimney... How to lose yourself as you find yourself, that's what we're asking ourselves now. How to grow a forest. How to conjure Dusk."
The company's show at the Young Vic last year, Brilliant, was about the magic of inner storytelling and the power of night-time. Now evolving from workshops among school classes and inspired by an equally mystical time of day comes Dusk . Expect music, soundscapes, gorgeous images and above all, the highest calibre of storytelling from a company that wants to show children all the worlds theatre can transport them to.
This installation-cum-show has been created for 4-7 year olds but older children are welcome.
