Ever fancied slumbering amongst oil-painted canvases and florid picture frames? Grab your sleeping bags and pyjamas -- your time has come.

This Halloween, the Dulwich Picture Gallery's ghosts, magical sorceresses and wizards are coming out to play. The Gallery's very own haunted house welcome's little visitors to watch as the Gallery's 300 year-old paintings come to life with mysterious guests telling their stories and create their own vintage-style prints.

At 11pm, it's lights out amongst the old masters, and in the morning, kids wake up to a breakfast and a classic film. Come in your most frightening fancy dress costume (there's a prize for the best dressed!)

Suitable for 7 – 13 year olds (if a sibling is slightly outside of this age range then exceptions will be made). All children must be accompanied by an adult.

An evening snack and breakfast including fruit, cereal, toast, juice and tea and coffee for accompanying adults is provided. Families should eat dinner before arriving.

Suitable for ages 7-13.

    DULWICH PICTURE GALLERY

This February, the gallery organised a 'spot-the-fake' challenge and replaced Fragonard's Young Woman with a £70 replica from China. Of the 3,000 people who voted, only 10% were able to correctly identify the counterfeit painting!
