Small bears, big bears, Care Bears, Paddington Bear, Winnie the Pooh – find them all at the V&A Museum of Childhood this October half-term!

From 21 – 27 October, cubs are invited to spend the week participating in workshops, learning about the history of the Museum's teddy collection, and crafting un-bear-ably cute teddies of their own! Read on for some highlights:

Make a Teddy Bear Workshop
Saturday 21 – Sunday 22 October
14:00 – 16:00


What would your perfect teddy look like? In this interactive workshop, artisan Emma Skinmore will take you through the steps to make your very own bespoke bear.
£15 per child, Age 8+


Care Bears’ Colourful Picnic Workshop
Monday 23 October – Friday 27 October
10:30 –11:30, 12:00 – 13:00, 14:00 – 15:00, 15:30 – 16:30




Anything is pawsible when you go on an adventure with your teddies! Make a miniature teddy picnic scene with your favourite bears and the help of illustrator Amy Brown.
£5 per child, Age 4+


Toy Memories: Photography Workshop
Wednesday 25 – Friday 27 October
10:40 – 12:00, 12:30 – 13:50, 14:40 – 16:00



Some of the teddy bears at the V&A are very old and have a lot of very special memories. Join artist and photographer Marysa Dowling to listen to their stories and make some photographs of your own!
£7 per child, Age 6+
