This May half term, Battersea Park Children's Zoo is participating in the BIAZA Love Your Zoo Week celebrations. The nation-wide event focuses on showcasing zookeeper's important research and conservation work with a series of fun, family-friendly activities.

Battersea Park Children's Zoo is one of our all-time favourite wildlife preserves – and they've announced a full-blown lineup of festivities for the occasion. For every day of Love Your Zoo Week, a different animal will step into the spotlight and receive special treatment from visiting children.

Monday is meerkatday – children will have the chance to help the keepers care for these crafty critters. Tuesday sees the funky coati (a raccoon relative) explore a brand new environment. Wednesday is World Otter Day, so prepare to learn all about their skills and habitats through a series of talks during the scheduled Feeding Times. Show some extra love to the donkeys and hairy Kune Kune pigs on Thursday. Friday is your chance to meet the zoo's mischievous monkeys, like the extravagantly moustachioed Emperor Tamarin.

Extra activities include Animal Badge Making between 11am – 12:30pm (for an extra £1). Storytelling sessions at 11:45 will keep the little ones entertained with all manner of delightful tales straight from the jungle.

Don't miss out on this chance to learn, explore, and see the beloved Battersea Park Children's Zoo like never before.
