Stop what you're doing! Step away from that Christmas tree and put those lights back on the window -- Christmas isn't over yet! Even The Guardian agrees with us. It doesn't actually come to an end until around the 5th or 6th of January with the arrival of the magi at the nativity scene burdened with their gifts.

So celebrate Christmas once more, and for the last time this year, with a free, outdoor, traditional 'goodbye' at the Geffrye Museum. Expect to see a burning of the holly and the ivy, indulge in some carol singing, listen to stories about Epiphany and have a final sip of mulled wine and a slice of Twelfth Night cake.

This event takes place in the garden, so wrap up warm!

  • Morito, Hackney

Crete-born chef Marianna Leivaditaki’s tapas and mezze restaurant is a fantastic addition to the Hackney culinary scene. Choose from a menu of mouthwatering bits and pieces all inspired by Southern Spanish, North African and Eastern Mediterranean delicacies. With a rustic but bright décor, food isn’t the only treat for Morito’s customers.

CUB in Hoxton is a collaboration with chef Doug McMaster of Brighton’s radical zero-waste Silo. Its mantra is to produce delicious, creative food, and not destruct the planet as they go, showing that luxury and low waste can co-exist. Bravo!
