In the darkness of night, our imaginations and thoughts run free. Do our dreams have deeper meanings? Do inanimate objects move when we're not looking? The V&A Museum of Childhood plans to draw out the subconscious with Dream On, their upcoming exhibition exploring the mysterious time between sunset and sunrise.

Journey through the childhood dreams of artist Christine Brown. Her figurative ceramic installation tells the story of two dolls who explore the museum when everyone else has gone home. Presented in dialogue with Brown's works, children from St George's Hospital in Tooting have also crafted sculptures depicting their wildest theories of what toys do when no one is looking.

Photographer Madeleine Waller and artist Katherine Tulloh asked Year Five pupils from Lauriston Primary School to share their dreams, working with the children to create images that represented their nighttime reveries.

Prepare to explore imaginary worlds at the V&A Museum of Childhood as dreams become reality.
