Colour: The Rainbow Revealed, is an upcoming exhibition at the Horniman Museum that is set to explore the endless ways colour affects our experiences.

The exhibition will host a range of family-friendly displays examining everything from sociological to scientific interpretations of colours. Learn how humans manage to manufacture hues, and why different colours are a matter of life and death in the animal kingdom.


As well as offering a fresh perspective on pigments, Colour: The Rainbow Revealed will feature a host of interactive games and hands-on activities. Fire up the Art Machine to put your newfound knowledge of colours to the test and create your own vivid masterpiece. Drop by the Colour Café to learn why only certain colours tempt your taste buds before chilling out in the multicoloured Mood Room.


This exciting new exhibition promises to bring an iridescent blast of colour to London – and just in time for February half-term
