The World's Best Female Chef 2018: Clare Smyth of Core by Clare Smyth

Clare Smyth, of Core by Clare Smyth, is the World's Best Female chef 2018, the ultimate accolade won in recent years by the most illustrous of international chefs Anne-Sophie Pic, Helene Darroze and Elena Arzak.

The first female chef to be awarded three Michelin stars in the UK during her 11 years as Chef-Patron at Gordon Ramsay's Hospital Road, she is clearly pursuing similar starry ambitions.

Refined elegance with the most rigorous attention to impeccable sourcing and sophisticated technique informs Core by Clare Smyth. Though, the dining room is more informal than many a 3 star restaurant, the culinary creativity and finesse is stupendous.
