Comprised of the two-Michelin-star gastronomic dining room (Krog) and a more casual bistro (Slip), Oaxen specialises in simple, tasty dishes usually locally-sourced Scandinavian ingredients and hand-picked wild herbs and plants. Now, the restaurant's chefs Johan Tengsved, Mikael Wretman and Emil Grönlund will attempt to recreate their masterpieces – this time with ingredients sourced from England.
Oaxen's dishes – such as their delicious knuckle of veal which will be the centrepiece of the meal – are made to share, and together with the relaxed environment at Carousel, aim to create a casual yet elegant culinary experience. With equal attention paid to the dining atmosphere, the quality of the ingredients and the appearance of the dishes, this Scandinavian addition to Carousel already has our taste buds watering.
