Running every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday throughout November, the London Shell Co.'s seafood supperclub is a must-visit marine adventure. This intimate and unusual culinary treat is a hot ticket, and this time, they've teamed up with seafood favourites The Wright Brothers to bring a Basque feast back to the Regent's Canal.

Aboard the My Fair Lady of Walker's Quay, the London Shell Co's new supper club seats fifty diners, cruising from Camden Lock to Little Venice and back again along Regent's canal and serving up a feast fit for the high seas.

In the past the LSC's events have been truly special experiences, allowing diners to share the secrets of its expert founders. With beautifully decorated interiors and a friendly trio of culinary wizards at the helm, this is clearly a labour of love for siblings Harry and Leah and chef Oscar Humphreys.

The trio have a collective trove of experience at the likes of Pollen Street Social, Vinoteca and Highgate's Bull & Last, and this latest venture aims to show diners just how much stunning seafood they can get for their buck: they certainly haven't cut any corners, and the £60 price tag (which includes a welcome cocktail, four course tasting menu with paired wine) is about as good value as you can imagine.

Humphreys heads up the kitchen, fresh out of Barrafina and with past experience including the River Cafe, Bocca di Lupo and Coya – impressive indeed.

The four course menu at the Seafood Suppers aims to bring the freshest British seafood and carefully paired wines: this time it will celebrate the culinary richness of the Basque region between France and Spain: the town of San Sebastian and the wines of the Pyrenees.

Generous portions of gigas oysters to seared scallops, Langoustines, and sea bream carpaccio, the experience is about as marine as it gets. One dish we couldn't get enough of last time around was Oscar's squid ink risotto: texturally perfect and steeped in rich inky black, this is unlike anything you'll have tried before.

With all the food sourced from the UK's best independent suppliers, the London Shell Co.'s focus is on simplicity, seasonality and, or course, flavour, and it certainly doesn't disappoint.
