Fitzrovia welcomes a stylish new addition to its enviable array of eateries with the opening of Percy & Founders. Headed up by former Murano chef Diego Cardoso, the menu promises simple, seasonal fare, with a list of six starters, six mains, salads and ‘Classics to Share’ keeping things straightforward and letting the food sing for itself.
Starters like their lobster and prawn scotch egg guarantee to set the mouth watering, while mains such as handmade tagiatelle with nettles, spring green and haytor cheese won't disappoint those with an appetite. We’re pleased to hear that rather than opting for safe bets they’re experimenting with their puddings: the almond crumble with prosecco sorbet sounds divine.
All day dining and a carefully curated wine list look likely to make it popular among central London's discerning visitors, and those looking to relax with an after-work cocktail, or a spot of light dinner. Situated within a chic new Fitzroy Place development, Percy & Founders hopes to offer welcome respite after a hard day’s shopping on Oxford Street.

    HUGH PERCY

Occupying the site of the former Middlesex Hospital, the restaurant’s name pays homage to a distant forefather. It is inspired by Hugh Percy, the Duke of Northumberland, who founded the hospital with a group of philanthropists in 1755.
