After a sell-out series of dinners in February, Carousel is teaming up with Tom Ryalls once again. From 8 to 26 September Tom Ryalls, former chef at the legendary Moro, will treat diners to a late summer menu of homegrown delicacies (the 'Horn of Plenty') that he describes as "quite stripped back and old school, with no fancy lotions or potions". Of all the new and cool London restaurants, Carousel's eclectic line-up of chefs and beautifully presented dishes puts it up there among the coolest.
Expect scallops and aloo chaat and bavette, tomatoes and summer savoury, amongst a lineup that will show off Tom's decades of experience in fine dining.
One year-old Carousel is the latest venture from the team at Shuttlecock Inc, award-winning creators of pop-ups, parties and events. With its constant rotation of excellent chefs, it's one of the most unique restaurants London has on offer. A sizeable, stylishly sparse three-floor venue, it promises pop-up dining and creative arts events, and Tom Ryalls' return consolidates its status as one of London's most exciting restaurants.
