Listen up! James Ramsden and Sam Herlihy – of Michelin-starred Pidgin fame – are bringing back their much-loved supper club for one night only.

Originally operating out of James' Holloway flat, the duo's supper clubs became the place to go for in-the-know foodie Londoners.
Thankfully, The Secret Larder Club is back, and it's all in the name of charity.

Taking place at Magpie, the pair's recently opened Heddon Street restaurant serving a modern British menu where diners select plates straight from the custom designed trolley, this one-off supper will bring together some of London’s biggest foodie names.

In the Magpie kitchen for this one-off event will be Glamorous Ravinder Bhogal, chef patron of Marylebone’s Jikoni, Tom Oldroyd of the eponymous Islington Oldroyd restaurant and Dan Doherty of Duck & Waffle.

Each chef will be tasked with creating one dish for the exclusive four course dinner with all profits being donated to Shelterbox, an international charity who provide vital aid and protection to families who have lost everything due to natural disaster and conflict.

While the exact supper-club menu is being kept strictly under-wraps, expect experimental takes on the chef’s signature dishes.

This is one secret dinner, we’re really keen to be in on.

The dinner is on Sunday 12th November with tickets £75.00, Time TBC.

Tickets for the one-off dinner go on sale on Monday 30th. Book directly from the restaurant by telephoning 0203 903 9096 or booking online info@magpie-london.com

  • The Araki

The first Japanese restaurant in Britain to be awarded three Michelin stars, The Araki has a simple premise: one menu, eleven courses, all sushi. This is seriously high-end, gourmet stuff and you won't experience anything else like it. The restaurant itself is breathtaking with Edo period-inspired décor and a counter made from a two hundred year-old Japanese cypress.
