Best unusual brunches in London
Our passionate love affair with brunch shows no sign of abating, but with so many options out there, where to go? It sometimes pays off to avoid the obvious choices...
London Brunch Fest (31 Aug & 1 Sep) is fast approaching and with this in mind, we round up the best unusual brunches in London.
A hidden Dalston gem with one of the most creative, mostly vegan friendly brunch menus we've encountered. What's more, pre-brunch, there's the option of a 90 minute yoga class with Yoke, plenty of relaxation time, a ceramics exhibition and dishes including sweetcorn, halloumi and courgette fritters – all from only £18, including 90 minute class!
Otherwise, chill with a glass of clementine and cashew or outstanding coffee, and their take on smashed avocado on Dusty Knuckle ryebread with sumac crumble, poached egg and house beetroot relish. Or opt for the konomi–yummy, their take on the Japanese savoury pancake with house made miso, kewpie mayo, tongkatsu sauce, bonito flakes and shallots.
It's over the road from Vortex Jazz Cafe who often have lunchtime slots.
Light brunch and yoga: £18
Full brunch and yoga: £23.50
