It has only taken a few thousand years of human civilisation to arrive, but it is finally here: a Pizza and Prosecco Festival. This celebration of the ultimate smart-casual food combination will be hitting London on Saturday 25 November.

These festive purveyors of carb and fizz will be dropping by several UK cities – Cardiff, Bristol, and Leeds – before making their way to the capital, where there will be no shortage of enthusiasts.

Along with live music, there will be a group of street vendors offering slices throughout the day and well into the evening – including vegan and gluten-free pizza.

But the centre of attention will be the Italian fizzy wine in more varieties than you could shake a tumbler at – although many will give it try – with some being served out of classic old-school Italian vans sporting pretty special names, such as The Original Goodfillas and The Tiny Tipple.

They will even be providing blankets so there is absolutely no excuse not to venture out into that November weather to get your fill.

All the fizzy festivities will be taking place at Building Six in the O2 from 1pm to 1am. Keep your eyes peeled for updates on the ‘Pizza and Prosecco Festival’ Facebook page, where you can also find ticket information.
