2018 is set to surpass expectations in style with a circus theme. The colourful carnival will be filled to the brim with fire eating, knife throwing, a flying trapeze and even an Insect Circus Museum. Head over to Dorset to indulge in some freakishly flamboyant festivities that truly celebrate the richness of the funfair.
What's more, Bestival recently relocated from the Isle of Wight to the Lulworth Estate, with its stunning grounds and gargantuan castle, in a move that seriously amped up the event's party appeal. It will also be taking place a month earlier than usual right in the heat of summer from 2-5 August, which hopefully means that its revellers will be able to celebrate welly-free throughout its four days of entertainment.
To top it all off, this year's line-up is jam packed with a range of leftfield and legendary artists. The ethereal soul trio London Grammar will be headlining the Castle Stage, renowned for their big hits, passionate vocals and spacious guitar riffs. Alt-pop provocateur M.I.A. will also be making an appearance, who shot into superstardom with her brashly brilliant hit 'Bad Girls', along with breakthrough vocalist and one time Drake collaborator, Jorja Smith.
Bestival has become a staple of the UK festival scene on account of the creativity, versatility and elegance which goes into its curation. With 2018 looking likely to live up to its unshakeably high standards, we strongly encourage you to roll up, roll up and get down at next year's inventive circus-themed event.
