Britain’s biggest biannual consumer fashion showcase returns to a brand new venue on the Strand, alongside the LFW SS 18 shows. London Fashion Week Festival (previously called London Fashion Weekend) invites style enthusiasts to live like their inner Miranda Priestly with a weekend of networking, runway shoes, shopping and dressing up.
Guests get fashion insider access to trendsetting collections as they take to the catwalk, and you can shop seasonal pieces at exclusive insider prices. At the last event in February, there was a talk by the curator of the V&A's massive Balenciaga exhibition and Anya Hindmarch. Expect experts of a similar pedigree this time around. The talks, shows and collections on sale this year are yet to be announced, so keep watching this space.
With fashion comes glamorous treatment: prepare to be snapped by the street style hunters while you cruise your way to the front row and keep your eyes peeled for famous faces.
How to get London Fashion Weekend tickets?
This is the only event that re-creates an insider’s fashion world and gives you exclusive access to the industry, so tickets tend to sell out fairly quickly. Here's everything you need to know on getting tickets to London Fashion Weekend:
Guests can choose between Bronze, Silver and Gold ticket options, or Luxe and Luxe Premium.
Bronze tickets (from £20) give guests access to the designer brands, shopping and expert talks. A bit of an upgrade to Silver (from £40) buys you a seat at a catwalk show, a chance to meet the professionals and a complimentary designer tote. Gold (from £60) gives you all that plus more trend and designer catwalk shows and access to a Q&A panel.
Real fashionistas should explore the Luxe option (£145), which gives fashion lovers a prosecco welcome reception, access to the VIP lounge, a style talk by an industry expert and a dedicated front row seat at a catwalk show. Plus, of course, a limited edition designer tote bag filled with Luxe gifts and your own exclusive till for making purchases. Luxe Premium (£200) includes a prosecco reception with Caroline Rush, chief executive of the British Fashion Council, and an intimate Q&A with a top designer before you take your front row seat at the evening catwalk show. Your limited edition designer gift-filled tote bag will be waiting for you on arrival.
