H&M x Stranger Things collaboration

Season three of Stranger Things is just about to grace our screens. Get into the mood with the H&M x Stranger Things collaboration

Stranger Things fans are waiting with bated breath for the third season of the hit Netflix show to drop this Thursday. Summer will be in full swing in our favourite Indiana town and what better way to celebrate the series' return (and the return of warm weather) than by picking up some summer-inspired merch from the H&M x Stranger Things collaboration.

Set in the 80s, the show's retro wardrobe certainly has hit a chord with fashion forward viewers. From Nancy’s to-die-for knitwear choices to the gang’s bright selection of painfully on-trend puffer jackets and, of course, Steve’s endless supply of fresh sneakers, the series’ colourful costume design provides prime fashion inspiration. H&M’s capsule collection hit stores in May and is allowing fans to achieve that Stranger style.

The nostalgic collection channels the halcyon summer of 1985 by paying homage to a new key location which appears to be the central haunt for the characters in season three.

A trailer which dropped in March revealed glistening images of the Camaro-driving Billy (played by Dacre Montgomery who also models in the H&M campaign) working as a lifeguard at Hawkins’ local pool.

Based around the community pool concept, the collection includes graphic t-shirts and tanks, shorts, playsuits, and colourful swimwear as well as a range of snazzy poolside accessories such as slides, visors and sunglasses for both women and men.

Make a splash this summer and dive into your own American suburban dream with this creative collaboration, or if nothing else, ensure that you have some comfortable clothing fit for battling demogorgons.
