If you've somehow missed the celebrations and pageants, newspaper articles and TV shows, then don't miss this. In celebration of reaching 90 years old, the Royal Household is hosting three special exhibitions commemorating The Queen's style, to be staged across each of Her Majesty's official residences during 2016.
Alongside Royal Fashion Rules at Kensington Palace, which we loved, Buckingham Palace (which is open for a few months each year) is hosting Fashioning a Reign to coincide with the opening of the State Rooms.
This fashion exhibition charts the significant events in The Queen's life and the nation's history with an unprecedented collection of dresses and accessories designed for the occasions, from childhood to the present day.
In total, over 150 outfits worn by The Queen will be presented across the three Palaces, with each special exhibition displaying a selection of outfits chosen because of their close association with the location.
The Queen's support of British couture and millinery will be highlighted through important pieces created for a world stage by renowned designers, including Sir Norman Hartnell, Sir Hardy Amies and Ian Thomas.
This summer, Buckingham Palace is the place to be for monarchists, visitors and fashionistas alike.
