Zara Home x Vincent Van Duysen collaboration drops

By Eleonore Dresch on 29/6/2022

This could be everyone's dream:

One of the most sought-after contemporary designers Vincent Van Duysen, known for his slick minimalist yet ultra-luxurious approach to interiors, is partnering with high-street giant Zara to create 19 pieces of furniture accessible to smaller budgets.

Van Duysen's creations are usually reserved for private clients so this partnership is a dream come true for all design lovers who can't afford his Molteni & C sofa.

'I am democratic, heart and soul,’ Van Duysen says. ‘And I love the philosophy, the attitude and the positioning of Zara in the world to make beautiful things accessible for any of us. I wanted to see what that would look like for my furniture.’

The collection drops today and is likely to be in very high demand.

The pieces from the collection have been inspired by Van Duysen's home in Antwerp and define Duysen's style: purity of lines, natural materials and neutral colours.

‘It’s about everyday spaces, what people live with, how they approach the pieces they love.’

The 19 products of the collection include furniture, lamps, rugs and smaller decorative items.

The designer has made sure quality materials, such as solid French oak, sanded stone from Galicia -- where Zara’s headquarters are located -- and pure cottons and linens are used in the making of his pieces.

'My furniture pieces can find a place in any kind of living room for any kind of person anywhere in the world'.

From £259, June 30, Zara Home
