Colourful Spring lamps, which we know Spitalfields-based designer Kennedy best for, and new Bronze Lamps with a horsehair shade, are set to be new favourites. Inspired by bunches of flowers, Kennedy's classic Spring Lamps wonderfully combine eighteenth-century English forms with handcrafted shades. For those not familiar with Pentreath & Hall, this is also a great excuse to a pay a visit to this unusual shop, tucked away near Russell Square.

Mood by Christofle for Selfridges
Luxury department store Selfridges is another essential pitstop over the Design Festival, with some spectacular product launches that will delight. Our first highlight is the spectacular first concession from The Conran Shop, with products exclusive to Selfridges. Then you'll want to admire the gorgeous silverware from Parisian manufacturer Christofle and the hot rising star skin care and home fragrance brand Haeckle's special pop-up, which curiously makes all its products from coastal ingredients. We're also intrigued by the innovative cookware designers Joseph & Joseph and the thrilling launch of a new bespoke luxury bag from Aspinal & Être Cécile.
But the real highpoint is the exciting collaboration between Creative Director of Dior, Raf Simons, and the gorgeous textiles manufacturer Kvadrat - available at the Skandium concession during LDF and exclusive to Selfridges. We can't wait to get our hands on the vibrant colours and fine materials in this new textiles and accessories collection.
And of course we can't forget the 1st birthday celebrations of HAY - our favourite contemporary Danish design manufacturer. Customers spending over a certain limit will get a special gift and there are even skandi nibbles. Pay a visit to the Minimart at Selfridges during LDF to stock up on all things sleek and Scandinavian!
