Fleur Darkin, choreographer and Artistic Director of SDT, has created a safe, sunny show well suited to its small targets. As you shelter from the rain under green paper or stretch out wings like the dancers to fly, no-one bats an eye if an audience member toddles into the midst of the performance.
The original score by Paul Bradley mixes folksy guitar and a dash of beatbox to great effect, and the movement is interspersed with tree-building and exploring. Gentle and short, this is an ideal introduction to contemporary dance.
Aimed at children aged 3-7.
