The Sinfonietta is one of the UK's newest and most exciting Chamber Orchestras: a versatile violinist (Zoë Beyers), two bright trumpeters (Lucy Humphris and Zoe Perkins) and the first British concert pianist to perform Chopin's complete works from memory (Warren Mailley-Smith). Beyers has established herself as one of the UK's finest violinists in her body of work as soloist, chamber musician, director and orchestral leader across the world.
Beyers will be performing the 4 Seasons at the end of a fantastic programme: the show will open with a performance of Pachelbel's Canon in D, followed by Vivaldi's Concerto for 2 trumpets in C, featuring Humphris and Perkins.
Mailley-Smith will prove his formidable technical skill and mature musicality as he plays Chopin's Piano Concerto No2 in F minor. The evening will culminate in the evergreen concerti, while the audience can sit back and take in the atmosphere of St James' Church with a complimentary glass of interval bubbly.
It's not quite New Year's Eve, but it's still the holiday season – join the celebrations with the Piccadilly Sinfonietta for a sparkling night to remember.
