Gentlemen Prefer Blondes is up there with the most celebrated movies of all time: who can forget Marilyn Monroe in that pink dress singing Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend?

Watch this Hollywood classic and escape to the golden days of Hollywood. Gentlemen Prefer Blondes playfully redefines romantic love, replacing it with American consumerism. The resulting satire is full of wit, comic gags and diamond tiaras.

Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell are double trouble as two showgirl friends, determined to get their way in the world. Monroe is Lorelei Lee, the blonde gold-digger, whose appetite for riches is matched only by the man-eater brunette Dorothy Shaw (Russell). Together they are loveable minxes: we watch their mishaps and triumphs as they travel to Paris on a transatlantic cruise.

Revel in the mischief of the original material girls: every once in a while, we all need a bit of sparkle.

Culture Whisper are offering Gold Whisper members free pairs of tickets. Book now to avoid disappointment.
