With a shortlist that reads like a who's who of our favourite writers, the Women's Prize for fiction is fast becoming the literary accolade to really get behind. This year there's a pop-up Baileys book bar, offering bibliophiles a series of events to celebrate excellence, originality and accessibility in books written by women. Over the course of the five days, the Baileys Book Bar at Waterstones Gower Street in London will host a series of events to celebrate women’s voice, hosted by the novelist & Women's Prize for Fiction founder director Kate Mosse.

Tuesday: Women Power & Revolution
06:30 PM on Tuesday 24 April at the Book Bar

Join an exceptional panel of inspiring women as they discuss power, womanhood and what revolution means to them today. The panel includes co-founder of the Women’s Equality Party and 2018 WPFF judge Catherine Mayer, broadcaster, writer and campaigner June Sarpong, and bestselling author Kit de Waal.

Wednesday: Baileys Cocktail Masterclass
6:30 PM on Wednesday 25 April at the Book Bar

The Baileys Treat Collective coffee expert Celeste Wong will also be hosting an evening workshop in the Baileys Book Bar. As one of London's top baristas, Celeste is the perfect person to show you how to create deliciously indulgent coffee and Baileys cocktails to impress your friends at home.

Thursday: Emily Brontë @ 200
6:30 PM on Thursday 26 April at the Book Bar

Celebrating 200 years since the birth of Emily Brontë in 1818, a panel of Brontë enthusiasts – including Lily Cole, Juno Dawson, Louise Doughty and Dorothy Koomson – will talk about their love of Emily Brontë's only novel Wuthering Heights and why the Brontë sisters continue to exert such a powerful influence on writing today. The evening will also offer an exclusive preview of the new anthology I Am Heathcliff, which contains sixteen original short stories inspired by Wuthering Heights – due to be published by The Borough Press in July 2018.

Friday: Queens of Comedy

6:30 PM on Friday 27 April at the Book Bar

Celebrate the best of female comedy with an evening paying homage to witty writing. Join some of the UK’s top female comedians and writers including bestselling author Jenny Colgan and journalist, writer and comedian Viv Groskop for this special finale event.
