20 August: The week's best BBC Proms
Get inside the orchestra with Simon McBurney, and marvel at Hungarian dynamism from Budapest
A visit to the Proms by the exuberant Budapest Festival Orchestra, under their maestro Iván Fischer (pictured with the orchestra), is always a highlight of the season. Hungarian folk tunes, with their frenzied dance rhythms, reimagined by Brahms, Sarasate and Liszt, form the core of the evening, alongside Brahms's magnificent Symphony No 1. It promises to be a night to remember. One of our BBC Proms 2018 Superstars
