How to make ready-chilled facecloths
There’s nothing nicer than being handed a chilled face towel on check-in after a long sweaty journey or pre-spa treatment. Here’s how to make your own:
1. Fill a large bowl or sink with warm water.
2. Disperse around 10 drops of the essential oil of your choice. We love the range from Boostology: try Glow – a lemongrass essential oil that makes you feel like you landed in Thailand. Or try the Revive with peppermint and eucalyptus – that’s super-refreshing to the senses. Both £9.99 each – buy here
3. Submerge washcloth; squeeze out excess water; fold in half and roll tightly (tucking in the ends).
4. Refrigerate or freeze in a sealable bag or container and use them at your leisure.

One side is smooth; the other has terry loops, so are great at multi-tasking to cleanse, exfoliate or act as a cooling towel during the heatwave.
