Their main selling point, though, is their promise of snow! You heard correctly – this December Pop Up Screens is bringing the very essence of Christmas into the 20th Century theatre's atmospheric venue. Audience members are also promised festive hot chocolate, mulled wine, brownies and popcorn from food purveyors Drum & Kernel.
This pop up has worked hard to make its festive cinema available to everyone: Pop Up Screens is showing three films a day at £20 admission (£10 for kids). We're definitely going to hop over to West London to catch the Bill Murray classic Groundhog Day but other highlights include Peter Pan classic Hook and The Muppet Christmas Carol with Michael Caine. For a more left-field choice, go and see A Christmas Story, the 1983 American classic that tells the story of nine-year old Ralphie and his search for a model air rifle.
