Introducing the Design Districts: London Design Week destinations you simply have to visit
LDF 2016 is finally upon us: the biggest design moment of the year, where London shines as the design capital of the world. Every year it's a thrill, but it's also fairly overwhelming. There are hundreds upon hundreds of events to choose between.
We've already told you about this year's major highlights, but there are a great many smaller local events too that shouldn't be missed.
There are seven Design Districts this year spread over the capital: Brompton, Chelsea, Islington, Clerkenwell, Shoreditch, Brixton and Bankside. These hubs are areas where there are distinct concentrations of local LDF activity and events that can be traversed easily on foot.

Unsurprisingly, Chelsea's King's Road is another LDF hotspot - showroom central. There's a flurry of activity, as ever this year.
Head down to the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour over at Imperial Wharf from the 18th to the 23rd for Focus/16. This 6 day extravaganza showcases luxury interiors by putting together a dynamic programme of creative minds. You can expect exciting exchange of ideas, designer encounters and collection launches. Focus is the first port of call for designers, architects, style-seekers and decision-makers who like to catch a glimpse of future design trends.
We can't wait to soak in Roca London Gallery's exhibition Soak, Steam, Dream: Reinventing Bathing Culture, which explores a renewed interest in the connection between the physical, meditative and social aspects of bathing. We're getting drowsy just thinking about it.
Make sure that you wander up the King's Road and stick your head into all the showrooms - just keep an eye out for the red logo.
