Fast Fashion: the best London pop-up shops
Fashion moves fast in London. Pop-ups can go from deserted shopfronts to buzzing hives to bare rails – all in the space of a day. Click through our slideshow to find all the best London pop-up shops and shows on now.
Mary Portas revolutionised charity shops when she opened her first upmarket Save the Children shop in 2009 – a pop up in Westfield. With the opening of her latest branch in Stoke Newington in May this year, she now has 22 special charity shops, mostly around London. They're beautifully curated and filled with designer goodies. The shop assistants have been known to write lovely descriptions on the clothing tags ('this top is the colour of the sky', 'great party dress') and one Culture Whisper writer picked up not one, but two Laundry by Shelli Segal dresses during a single visit to the Wimbledon branch. Now Liberty department store is hosting a pop-up. Get a bargain for a good cause.
