All Points East 2023, Victoria Park

Stormzy, The Strokes, HAIM, Jungle and Dermot Kennedy to headline All Points East 2023, with Field Day festival sandwiched in between

All Points East 2023, Victoria Park
Since its launch in 2018 by the founders of America's glamorous Coachella festival, All Points East (APE) in east London's Victoria Park has been on the rise. The festival is spread across six days this summer, including the August Bank Holiday weekend, and could nearly rival Glastonbury in terms of the breadth and diversity of performers. (It's a day festival only, mind, so don't turn up with your tent in tow!) Wondering who's headlining? Read on…

Stormzy

First up, on Friday 18 August, is homegrown rapper, singer and songwriter Stormzy. He'll be kicking off the festival, supported by a bumper line-up of acts including American singer-songwriter Kehlani, Sampha, Knucks, Lucky Daye and more.

Then on Saturday 19 August, as is now tradition, APE lends its site to Field Day Festival for one day only. Prepare to throw some shapes to a largely techno, electro line-up featuring Aphex Twin, Bonobo, Arca, Fever Ray and more.

The Strokes

After a fallow week, APE returns on Friday 25 August with an almighty day of indie-rockers. American favourites The Strokes will be the main event for some, while for others, their fellow New York City exports The Yeah Yeah Yeahs will be the big pull. Also performing is Norwegian newcomer Girl in Red, Angel Olsen, Amyl and the Sniffers, and more.

On Saturday 26, it's over to electronic music project Jungle, who will be inspiring a bit of boogying along with dance group Falamour, electro-jazz cool cats BADBADNOTGOOD and more.

Dermot Kennedy

Upping the tempo on Sunday 27 is Irish pop star Dermot Kennedy, performing earworms like Kiss Me, Power Over Me and Outnumbered. He'll be supported by the fresh-faced Olivia Dean, Norwegian singer-songwriter Aurora and fellow Irishman James Vincent among others.

HAIM

Last but not least, Monday 28 welcomes the HAIM sisters to Victoria Park. The Los Angeles trio have a loyal fan base in the UK, and were joined on stage by Taylor Swift when they recently played London's O2, in what has to be one of the most thrilling guest star appearances of all time. Here, they've got Girl in Red, Confidence Man, Lizzie McAlpine, Tove Lo, Snail Mail and more announced as support acts in what looks set to be an epic send off for one of London's favourite summer festivals.
