Like Frieze, London Art Fair features modern British art from the 20th and early 21st century, alongside some pretty prominent contemporary work, from over 100 galleries. It's commercial, but that doesn't mean there isn't plenty to enjoy - even if you're not in the market.
As well as the participating galleries, there's Photo50, the show's dedicated photography fair. The Lightbox is the museum partner of London Art Fair 2017, presenting major works from The Ingram Collection, including sculptures from Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore. There's a full programme of talks and workshops, too.
The fair takes place in Angel, at the hulking Business Design Centre, and runs from 20-24 January. For £15 (22on the door) you can spend the day there, hunting for a bargain, (everything is for sale, save the Jerwood pieces) attending a few of the numerous lectures, or just soaking up the atmosphere.
